Anja Riedeberger has been Director of Information for the Goethe-Institut’s South Asia region (Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka) since 2021. From 2016 to 2021, she was Director of Information for the South America region at the Goethe-Institut Sao Paulo. She has worked for the Goethe-Institut since 2010 in various positions and regions, spanning China, Germany and Israel, in addition to India and Brazil. In her current position, she coordinates the projects and activities of the Goethe-Instituts in South Asia in the areas of digitisation, literature and libraries.
The Goethe-Institut is a non-profit German cultural association operational worldwide with 159 institutes, promoting the study of the German language abroad and encouraging international cultural exchange and relations.
