Amabel Susngi is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She has a Master’s degree in Music from Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong, and is currently a PhD scholar in Music at MLCU. She is also a recipient of the Nongbah Nongjngi Hadem Presbytery’s Meritorious Achievement Award, the Tata Steel Foundation’s Samvaad Fellowship, the North East Zone Cultural Centre’s Young Talented Artiste Award and the Meghalaya Grassroots Music Project’s Recognizing Inspiring Artistes Award. She currently teaches Music at Hill Crest Higher Secondary School in Shillong.
